BRRRR..... SURVIVING WINTER

I live in a town with real winter where School is often cancelled, down jackets and scarves are excavated from the backs of closets, snowmen are built, and hot chocolate is sipped by the warmth of a fire, below-zero temperatures and several feet of snow on the ground are the norm for many months of the year.
My family living in Florida often ask me, How do you survive? Its easy " It's what we know here as normal," Its all about keeping warm. But living in a place with a harsh winter comes with its fair share of challenges. But... One thing's for sure: when temperatures drop the fun start, whether your passion is skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, ice skating or snow shoeing.
Ice fishing is huge around the Michigan lake. In some areas, fish houses are grouped together on lakes to form driving lanes, creating what appear to be fish house "cities." "Some of the ice fishing houses are tricked out rather nicely with heaters, televisions, microwave ovens and bars. Some of these guys will sit out there for days and cut a hole in the ice, and actually, I think they get less fishing than drinking done. At school the children have outdoor recess until the temperature is 20 below zero. If it drops any further, the principal declares recess indoors and the children spend their break in the library or the gymnasium.
Life goes on pretty normally We're still got to basketball games and concerts, and people are still out shopping and go out to dinner. It's just like anywhere else; you just have to dress a little warmer.
Let it Snow, Let it Snow...

ITS HERE............ ITS HERE, WINTER IS HERE.

OH GOSH, OH GOSH
what a gloomy feeling
the sky is gray,
it feel like winter out there.
For weeks now I heard the honk of the birds flying south
But today, nothing but stillness and silence.
Its a great morning to wrap myself in light shawls or in a big comfy sweeter.
There will be many days like this'
Eves of hot cocoa, curl up by the fire,
Lonely afternoon,
sunless and nostalgic mornings
Its seen like winter is arriving early
the Autumn trees haven't finish un-dressing yet
and the chill of winter already arrive.
Its that what they mean by "GLOBAL WARMING" ?
I hope to break in the middle of the winter
and fly south something in December of February.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

nothing technical, not light, not showdowns, not compositions, and definitely not perspective,

just the mood I am in, its how a felt that day, that moment

its just me.

every body its an artist, no matter what you make,

that great and tasting recipe or that

that sentimental poem.

I may not be a great artist,

BAD BREATH

Why is it that the people with the worst breath are also the people who talk the most? I'm sure you have meet then, we all have. I'm sure we all know some one with bad breath, It could be your boss or the delivering boy or maybe sweet aunt Mary or uncle Charles who on top of all smoke cigar and love to pinch your cheek.
At my house when growing up was the landlord, who had the most eye-watering ever allusive green breath. the kind that not only have the vile stink of death but a mixture of vapor and solids. For some reason he stop by frequently (we all suspected he like my mom) and stay to talk, what make things more difficult for us to leave her there alone with the one eye monster, slobbering woof.
One day with his intention to conquer the enemy and trying to be friendly with My little sister who at the time was only six, he came closed to her face, in this case "to closed for comfort" and open his voice box, My sister twisted her nose and told him plaint and simple "your breath stinks". That was one of the must embarrassing moment for my mom, but for me? I run to lock myself in the bathroom, I'd almost die laughing.
Of course, you and I have never had bad breath. But if ever in the unfortunate circumstance of dealing with a person of mouth odor, there are better remedies than to tell then their mouth stinks. If you must engage them, try and do all the talking. give then little time to open their fetid voice box, if they insist as a last resort cutting out the tongue and teeth has proves to be quite effective
Bad breath is a social killer. it has no demographic, race, or creed and It's color blind

HOW THE HEALTH CARE REFORM SHOULD LOOK LIKE

  • Affordability: Working families should not be forced to spend money they don't have. Penalizing those who do not obtain coverage only adds insult to injury.
  • A public health insurance option: 68% of Americans agree we need a robust public option that provides real competition to insurance companies and lowers costs.
  • No taxes on health plans: Reform should not be funded on the backs of workers whose plans have high costs for reasons that have nothing to do with wasteful spending or unnecessary care.
  • Real employer responsibility: All but the smallest employers should have to provide health care coverage or contribute to a fund to pay for subsidies for their workers.
WE WANT NOTHING LESS

and the fall colors. There is nothing more sexy that mother nature getting undress
We are now in OKTOBERFEST season there.
And... there is something special about eating bratwurst and schnitzel and drinking good, German beer at an Oktoberfest. Somehow German food and beer tastes better in October.

acceptable

"We are all fundamentally disposable."
the world started off fine without us, and it will be completely fine when we leave. I wake up with This thought in my head today, and its fine and absolutely normal, its acceptable and I am not depress by it.

my brother got up in a cleaning mood and for some reason he thinks that if he fells like cleaning every one should help him and be graceful and appreciative of his effort.
thanks heaven he left soon and the afternoon was quited and peaceful.
After dinner I jump in the pool for a few laps and started raining not soon after. I didn't mind the rain at all, I got out and dry myself and made me a milk shake.
let it rain, let it rain, I love the smell of wet grass specially after a hot day.

I am INSPIRED! Whether or not this inspiration will last is a very different issue. Everything starts with a little aspiration, and it's the thought that counts, right?
I stop blogging for a wile I forgot how much I enjoy it.
Sometimes i think of my life as so ordinary and boring, nothing to talk about, not excitement, not romance, nothing special at all.

THE CAPTURE

THE CAPTURE III

DON'T KNOW HOW LEGAL ITS THIS BUT THIS GUY WAS TRAPPING THE IGUANAS TO KILL AND EAT THEN

THE CAPTUREPICT0003

IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE LEGALITY OF THIS, LET ME KNOW

THE CAPTURE IV

The Ultimate Truth

You must stop seeing you as separate from each other nothing exists in the universe that is separate from anything else. Everything is intrinsically connected, irrevocably interdependent, interactive, interwoven into the fabric of all of life.
All government, all politics, must be based on this truth. All laws must be rooted in it.
This is the future hope of your race; the only hope for your planet.

what a beautiful night

My mom its feeling better, that means I will be going home soon, I know
that I said
that I wanted to go home
...and I still do,
but... I am going to missed all this.
Its a beautiful night
and like must nights lately,
I find myself sitting by the pool contemplating the night.
George a friend of the house is playing the Piano, inside.
I am staring to feel romantic for a moment I let my Imagination run wild.
the intoxicating smell of chlorine and suntan lotions, bring me back to the pool.
It has been a wonderful family time, I've feel closer to my brothers than past times maybe because I relax more and accept more.
I have care and pamper my mom and surprisingly I'd enjoy it.
I am leaving with the sadness of losing a sister, even though we knew it was for the best
she was in so much pain, it was painful to watch her. Death its hard to accept, its hard
to let go, death is so final so for ever.
I know some people may said we will meet again
but at times I am not so sure of that, death still a mystery to some of us.

Thank You, Senator Kennedy

He push for equality and civil rights; equal pay for equal work for

women; equal access to quality affordable health care; Senator Kennedy co-sponsored legislation to provide benefits to domestic partners of Federal employees, was a staunch supporter of affirmative action policies and programs, and sponsored re-introducing the Equal Rights Amendment. But if the measure of a man's worth comes from helping those most in need, fighting when most have resigned defeat, and reaching out when others pull back, then Senator Kennedy most certainly earned the moniker "the lion." He was a king among kings.

Its not politics, Its Humanity

People in the poorest parts of our world struggle daily against hunger and poverty, but much of this is preventable. The trick is that we cannot depend on one solution.
Here are the four key areas that need to be addressed in developing countries:
1. Malaria: Women need to learn how to protect themselves and their families from this disease that kills more than 1 million people each year.
2. Health Protection: Low-cost health products, micro-insurance and health savings plans can help prevent families from being destroyed by minor illnesses.
3. Micro-finance: With small loans, women can raise animals and plant gardens, creating sustainable businesses.
4. Education: Learning about family planning, health and business empowers women to secure their futures.

ON ANOTHER NOTE:
It seen that much of what i said it sound like politics
many has criticize me by saying I speak left wind crap. I am not a political person but a humanitarian
since when to care for the well being of other is politics? and isn't that the concern of every citizen?

  • Veggie burger with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise.
  • Re-fried beans, brown rice, guacamole, salsa, lettuce.

Diversity

Today I will be raising money for United for diversity on the parking lot of a local supermarket
United for diversity

In this world of duality, we all feel different from one another.
We meet thousands of people,
from many races,
with varying physical conditions,
of different ages,
contrasting religions,
and opposing political beliefs,
philosophies,
convictions,
and ideals.
We perceive separation and injustice everywhere, in a world of extreme contrast and variance, a world of untold possibilities.
we search endlessly for union. We strive to heal the planet, we create programs for conflict resolution, we march for peace, trying desperately to get humanity to see beyond its differences and live in harmony.

The only way to experience world peace is to elevate love-consciousness: the underlying union that sustains everything. Until we realize that we are all one, we will continue to witness destruction and conflict, in a society based in fear.
Adapted from: Why Walk When You Can Fly

OTHERS

It occur to me about this Quote
"Do not do to others what you would not want done to you".
But When you are One with nature, one with the universe, one with all that surrounded us. You'll realize the idea that there is no "other." only ONE
You're not a planet by yourself or you own universal for that matter
you are part of it, "WE ARE ALL ONE"
